Your Smile "Test Drive"

Once your smile design has been blueprinted, impressions will be taken of the teeth. This will allow Dr. Shabo to create a smile design wax-up; a model of what your new smile will look like. This model is used to create temporary porcelain veneer tooth restorations that can be put on right over your smile. This "trying on" allows the dentist to check such important aesthetics as shape, contour, color and size of the restorations.

Our patients are always thrilled with the way their new smile looks and fits! Minor adjustments can be made in the fit but rarely are any necessary. When style and fit have been approved, the patient's teeth are then prepared so that temporary restorations can be worn for the typical two week period it takes for our lab of expert ceramists to create the finished porcelain restorations. There is also a two day "express" service available for your convenience.
